How do I stop all those emails for every thing that happens on the site?
To stop getting email notifications about comments, Forum replies, Friend requests, and the like, go to your account and change what you need... Account -> Privacy Settings -> Notifications.
You can set each of those to either “Yes” (if you want to be notified by email) or to “No”. Once you have made the changes you want, click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page.
In the event that you still get unwanted email notifications, go back through the steps above but change one or more items to “Yes” (or “No” if it was already “Yes”) and save the changes...then, go back and change them to the way you really want and save that. This tends to “force” a database change and usually corrects the situation.
